Founded in September 2022 by Ian, Helpful Fix is a website focused on providing actionable automotive advice.
Many automotive-related questions lack relevant and useful information online. Many lead to forums with poorly-written or incorrect answers. Finding a clear answer can be a wild-goose chase.
Bit by bit, Helpful Fix aims to fill in the gaps by producing well-written articles on topics that aren’t covered well. As the company grows, coverage will expand into more popular automotive topics where a trustworthy voice is needed.

Glad you asked. We produce all of our content based on experience and/or thorough, painstaking research. Our team, headed up by Ian (an avid car enthusiast and web designer) is composed of writers with a passion for vehicles and writing helpful content. It’s the perfect combination.
In addition, at the end of every article is the option to send us a correction. We take all feedback seriously and strive to immediately update any content with innacuracies. You don’t see this on other sites, which oftentimes contain innacurate solutions – yet offer no way to send a correction.
Team
The founder and main guy behind Helpful Fix is Ian.
Ian has been an avid car guy all his life.
He also enjoys traveling, hiking, basketball, baseball, and web design.
His first car was an AMC Eagle. He put over $2,500 and dozens of hours into fixing various problems with it.
Besides Ian, the Helpful Fix team includes several car enthusiasts from around the world.
In addition to being car-lovers, each are passionate about researching and writing, and they share what you might call a crazy vision to produce the most helpful vehicle-related content on the web.
